Hennie Pienaar, *MTh, *ACPT, *REBT-S, *VMT-R is a Clinical Psychotherapist in private practice since 1998. He studied theology and psychology.  He works with individuals and groups in churches (interdenominational as well as ecumenical), government, corporations, small to medium businesses and in private sector.  He is a licensed minister and motivational speaker.  He received his supervisory certificate from the Albert Ellis Institute for Rational Emotive and Behavioral Therapy in New York City where he did post-graduate work. He trained in Voice Movement Therapy (VMT) at Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts, USA, with Anne Brownell and Christine Isherwood, pioneers in the development of VMT who studied and taught with founder Paul Newham. He is currently busy with his doctorate in practical theology and research the effect of voice movement therapy on human spirituality. He is a part time psychotherapist at Minnesota House Treatment Center for people with addictions, he runs therapeutic groups at a private neuro-clinic and is the founder of Integrated Living, an organization presenting Voice Movement Therapy to groups all over South Africa.  He is also the founder and director of Flexible Living which organizes workshops, seminars and conferences for speakers in the fields of psychology, psychotherapy and theology in South Africa.  Hennie is a poet, performer, comedian and singer who loves to do one-man shows.  He is the founder of VMT Africa and also act as an assistant teacher in Voice Movement Therapy for students in Africa.
